Community Groups

Experience community at Grace Crossing. We meet together to share our lives in community groups around the Word of God, accepting one another where we are and encouraging each other to grow.

Beginning in September and running through the end of May, our body at Grace Crossing meets and experiences community in various forms all across Shelby County. Times vary to fit everyone’s schedules throughout the weeks and locations range from homes and the church building to local coffee shops and restaurants. For families with children, we’ve aligned the times for Holy Ground and specific community groups to correspond and compliment one another. Each community group is responsible for completing two service projects – one inside a Grace Crossing ministry and one outside the church. Toward the end of May, all community groups come together to celebrate and share stories of what God has done throughout the year.

Why Have Community Groups?

Real growth happens when we share our lives together. We want to foster a life-on-life experience where we share our success and failures and talk about the nuts and bolts of life under the teaching of the Word – it’s the catalyst for conversation! And we’re not just talking about it either. We’re engaging with one another to move toward real growth!
