The vision of Grace Crossing isn’t new or original by any stretch of the imagination. Our most fundamental desire is to glorify God. We believe God is most glorified in us when we imitate and follow Jesus, the one who gave God more glory than anyone who ever lived.
We exist to glorify God by accepting people where they are and helping them transform into authentic followers of Jesus.
That’s our mission statement.
We want to be a church that helps people see how good God really is. Plugging in and getting connected to a church should bring us closer to God’s true character.
We want to be a church that is known for accepting all kinds of people where they are. Nobody does this better than Jesus. Just read the four Gospels. We want to love the world with the radical, unconditional love of God.
We want to be a church that helps people tap into the life-changing power of the Gospel. The same power that brought Jesus back to life is available to us. We want to harness and channel that power in a way that transforms individuals, families and ultimately, Shelby County.
We want to be a church that equips people to love others sacrificially and to serve the world with their spiritual gifts and resources.
