Looking to get plugged in? Want to serve, but don’t know how to get started?
The Involvement Ministry exists to help integrate the members of Grace Crossing into ministries where they can use their gifts to serve the church and their communities.
Every ministry at Grace Crossing seeks to fulfill the "Serve the World" aspect of our mission. These ministries are each composed of individuals with a passion and gift for that particular form of service. We believe that everyone has a gift and that God calls us to use those gifts to serve Him and each other (Romans 12 and I Peter 4, below). Most of our ministries have multiple branches, allowing for a wide range of gifts to be used in each ministry.
We also empower ministry leaders and members to expand current ministries and form new ministries that are in line with the vision of Grace Crossing. If you have a desire to serve and want to get connected or start something new, please contact Jon or Becca Kinney, or the church office at gracecrossing@gracecrossing.com
“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”
Romans 12:4-8
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If you speak, you should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If you serve, you should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”
